Sasha Massey & Heavenly Voice

If you’ve ever been to St. John’s Cathedral in Downtown Lafayette, LA, you’ve most likely heard my Sasha Massey sing. She's the cantor at St. John’s where her voice echoes throughout the beautiful church during Sunday Mass. But don’t think she’s bound to just liturgical music. From jazz, to soul, to blues, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette vocal performance graduate has one of the most flexible and fabulous voices in all of Louisiana. We talk about how not only singers, but non-singers as well, can better take care of their voice, how she got into music, her take on traditional vs contemporary music at Church, and so much more.
