AcadianaCasts Presents:

Walter Comeaux IV & The Perfect Dad Lawn

ACADIANACASTS, Carter Simoneaux Episode 8

Welcome to this week's episode of AcadianaCasts Presents:

Today, we are thrilled to have Walter Comeaux IV, an engineer from Broussard, LA, join us for a conversation about his experience with the flood of 2016.

Walter shares his personal story of how he and his family were affected by the flood, as well as his frustration with the response from the state and insurance companies. He speaks candidly about the challenges working through the "Restore Louisiana" program.

In addition to discussing the flood, Walter talks about his journey of rediscovering his Cajun roots through learning Cajun music. He shares how this has been a source of joy after becoming jaded towards his Cajun roots.

We also touch on the recent announcement that Lauren Daigle will be headlining Festival International, an annual music festival in Lafayette, LA. Walter shares his thoughts on the "backlash" via social media to the announcement.

Finally, we wrap up our conversation with a lighthearted discussion about the art of cutting grass. Walter, who takes great pride in his lawn, shares his tips and tricks for achieving the perfect cut.
